LEGACY OF EUROPA
Europa Gymnastics Centre CIC opened in 2012 as part of an Olympic training venue provided for the athletes during the Olympic and Paralympic games. The centre was opened by the then Mayor of London Boris Johnson.
Europa Centre is a successful legacy of the 2012 Olympics.
Europa has a longstanding history and was previously based in Frazer Road, Erith. The centre is managed by Len and Yvonne Arnold OBE. Yvonne was a former Olympic gymnast. Gymnastics is in the blood for the Arnold family as both their daughter and son competed at international level. Len and Yvonne have shown their commitment to the gymnastics world by selling their home to keep the Frazer Road gym running.
Along with their commitment to gymnastics Europa also has an outstanding record of creating a hub for the community of which in 2019, Europa won the Bexley Trust award defeating opposition such as McDonalds.
At Europa the Centre makes the interest of the individual first and commits to making their time at Europa a fun and fantastic experience.
FACILITIES AT EUROPA
Europa Centre has a state-of-the-art facility for all levels of gymnastics whether you are a complete beginner or of an International level we cater for all abilities. This also includes children with additional needs and adult classes.
To get the children having fun, exploring and learning new skills we also have our gym zone soft play area. Here, young children can play in a safe environment supported by a qualified coach.
Europa Centre has a range of other activities including, fitness gym, dance classes and various ranges of martial arts classes.
